Year 6 Little Cayman Trip

Our first Year 6 class left this Wednesday for their trip to Little Cayman. Below are their daily logs of what already sounds like a fun and amazing trip.

Day 1: After a short delay at the airport ✈️, we arrived safe and sound. We’ve already been snorkeling and spotted lots of turtles 🐒. Lunch was delicious 🍽️, and we’re now looking forward to an educational lecture about a new initiative called ‘Reefs Go Live’ by CCMI 🌊.

The day has been action-packed with fun and learning. Post-lunch, we visited the local gift shop πŸ›οΈ, explored a lake while learning about native Boobie and Frigate birds 🐦, walked the rock iguana trail 🦎, and skimmed stones before having dinner at the beach πŸŒ…. Now, it’s time for some R&R with a movie night 🎬 before bed πŸ›Œ. All children are in good spirits and should sleep soundly 😴.

Day 2: The children woke up bright and early to a beautiful, calm morning 🌞. After a peaceful night, they enjoyed a breakfast of waffles or toast with various spreads and cheeses πŸ§‡πŸž. Soon, we will have an informative talk about local fish 🐠 before setting off on another exciting snorkeling trip before lunch. Everyone is safe, sound, and happy 😊.

More updates to come.
